{"id":5178,"date":"2024-01-20T15:28:05","date_gmt":"2024-01-20T13:28:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.changeeat.com.cy\/?p=5178"},"modified":"2024-01-19T15:00:04","modified_gmt":"2024-01-19T13:00:04","slug":"fig-roll-oat-bars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.changeeat.com.cy\/en\/fig-roll-oat-bars\/","title":{"rendered":"Fig roll oat bars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients for 16 bars:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">280g dried figs or dates<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">50g apricots or raisins<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">\u00bd cup hazelnut butter\u00a0 (or any other type of nut butter)<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">2 tbsp pumpkin seeds and\/or sunflower seeds<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">150g oats<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">1 tsp ground cinnamon<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">1 tsp ground nutmeg<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Melted dark chocolate to drizzle on top<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Method:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Line an 18cm square baking tin with a baking sheet.<\/li>\n<li>In a food processor, pulse the chopped figs and apricots until chopped to small pieces.<\/li>\n<li>Add the rolled oats, hazelnut butter, pumpkin seeds, cinnamon, and nutmeg to the food processor. Pulse until they form a sticky dough.<\/li>\n<li>Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared tin.<\/li>\n<li>Cover and place in the fridge for 1 hour or in the freezer for 30 minutes. When set, cut into 16 squares and store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.<\/li>\n<li>Drizzle melted dark chocolate on top.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Nutritional
