Each burger contains 9g of fiber.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"_5yl5\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Ingredients for 6 burgers:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 cup quinoa, cooked<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">150g sweet potato, peeled and cut into chunks\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd cup of red kidney beans, cooked<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1\/2 cup of beans, cooked<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 medium red onion, diced<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">3 medium mushrooms, diced<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 garlic cloves, crushed<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 red chilli, diced (optional)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 tbsp. olive oil<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2 tbsp. soy sauce (less salt)<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tsp. paprika<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1\/2 tsp. oregano<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00bd cup coriander, chopped\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 tbsp. of spelt flour<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">100g oats<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>tbsp.: tablespoon 15ml,\u00a0\u00a0 tsp.: teaspoon 5ml,\u00a0\u00a0 cup.: 1 cup 250ml<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Method:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Place the sweet potato chunks in a saucepan of boiling water on a medium heat. Cook for 15 minutes or until soft. Drain and put it on the side.<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, cook the quinoa according to packet instructions.<\/li>\n<li>In a pan on a medium heat, add a drizzle of olive oil along with the mushrooms. Saut\u00e9 for a few minutes<span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Next, in a large bowl, mash half of the red kidney and white beans into a paste.<\/li>\n<li>Pour in the rest of the beans along with the diced red chilli, red onion, crushed garlic, olive oil, paprika, oregano, soy sauce, cooked sweet potato chunks, chopped coriander, cooked quinoa, spelt flour and oats.<\/li>\n<li>Combine thoroughly before shaping into 6 patties and placing on a lined baking tray.<\/li>\n<li>Ideally place the tray in the fridge overnight, but if not for a minimum of an hour.<\/li>\n<li>When ready to cook preheat the oven to 180\u00a0<sup>o<\/sup>C.<\/li>\n<li>Cook the burgers for 20 minutes on each side.
